About Me

Having originally trained as a Holistic Therapist, Sophie decided to focus her work with clients who have suffered from the affects of cancer and other health conditions.

Having trained in the Dr Vodder technique of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, I practice this hands-on technique which is widely recognised as the standard treatment for the condition of lymphoedema.

I am a Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy member of MLD UK, which allows me to treat non functioning lymphatic systems in the case of lymphoedema. The Vodder method also enables me to treat other less severe conditions.

More recently, I have worked at the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital in London where I treated patients suffering from lymphoedema.

MLD UK requires its therapists to update their training at least every two years, to ensure that they maintain the highest standards. I am a fully registered member of MLD UK (Manual Lymphatic Drainage), through which I am insured."
